Students learn to recognize gender stereotypes, how they are constructed, how they are related to discrimination and how they are presented in different media and contexts. They develop critical thinking skills considering materials of pop culture.
If the ideas of the Enlightenment allowed the French Revolution to emerge, it could be assumed that today’s philosophers would be us! The idea is therefore to use the same technique as Voltaire and to pass through the mass dissemination of a simple work, readable by all, but calling into question and criticising gender inequalities.
